An Early Start

As a stand-alone trip, the Pre-Tour is a wonderful three-game introduction to Japan and its baseball. Or couple this Pre-Tour with the Main Tour to see more baseball and cities. Some people use the Pre-Tour to get their feet on the ground before starting the Main Tour.

As Add-On Option to Main Tour

An additional $1,565 per person (double occupancy) for this Pre-Tour add-on to the Main Tour price.

Single Room Supplement: $120 additional charge for a single room for the entire portion of the tour, not per night.

As Stand-Alone Tour

$1,680 per person (double occupancy).

Single Room Supplement: $150 additional charge for a single room for the entire Pre-Tour portion of the tour, not per night.

ITINERARY

Friday, September 6 – In Air

PRE-TOUR guests depart US and Canada home cities and cross the International Date Line during flight to Tokyo, arriving on September 7. 

If departing from other than US or Canada, schedule to arrive in Tokyo by afternoon of September 7.

Saturday, September 7 – Tokyo

Pre-Tour guests arrive in Tokyo.

Hosted early evening gathering at the JapanBall Hall of Fame.

Overnight in Tokyo.

Sunday, September 8 – Tokyo

Game with Tokyo Yakult Swallows hosting Giants at Jingu Stadium (5:00 PM).

Overnight in Tokyo.

Monday, September 9 – Tokyo

Baseball Off-Day spent in Tokyo.

Suggested and hosted sightseeing.

Overnight in Tokyo.

Tuesday, September 10 – Osaka

Bullet train from Tokyo to Osaka.

Game with Hanshin Tigers hosting Swallows at Koshien Stadium (6:00 PM).

Overnight in Osaka.

Wednesday, September 11 – Tokyo

Bullet train from Osaka to Tokyo.  

Game with Chiba Lotte Marines hosting Buffaloes at Chiba Marine Stadium in eastern Tokyo (6:15 PM).

Overnight in Tokyo.

Thursday, September 12 – Depart or join Main Tour

1. Guests depart for home from Tokyo. Those returning to US and Canada cross International Date Line, getting back the day lost coming to Japan, and arrive home same day.

2. Or, guests continue with Main Tour.
